You can easily find wet wipes in large supermarkets such as Walmart and small convenience stores in exquisite packaging. Wet wipe, as a common cleaning and hygiene product in daily life, its manufacturing process involves a variety of steps and techniques.
I’m going to take you through the manufacturing process of HuiHao’s Wet Wipes and the secret to producing 500,000 packs of wipes per day. This article focuses on the steps involved in the manufacturing process as well as quality control. The manufacturing process in this article is applicable to the private label wet wipes customization project.
Material Preparation
Material preparation is divided into fabric selection and liquid formulation.
1. We usually use non-woven fabrics as the production material, which is the most frequently and widely used raw material for wet wipes manufacturing. For customized projects, we also offer other eco-friendly materials such as bamboo fiber cloth and virgin wood pulp cloth (100% biodegradable).
After the customer has selected the fabric all that is required is to place the finished fabric on the assembly line and cut it to the size that the customer needs.
2. Liquid formulation preparation includes pure water manufacturing and chemical solution configuration, mixing and other steps
Pure water manufacturing is done in our GMP class 100000 workshop.
We adjust the chemical formulation to suit the manufacturing goals and can also customize the liquid formulation to meet the exact needs of the customer.
After mixing, we tank the solution and prepare it for further use.
Fabric Finishing
1. After cutting the fabric, we will feed the liquid through the machine. We use highly accurate instruments to control the continuous supply of solution. The fabric will be uniformly saturated with the solution as it passes through the feeding tube and will be subjected to infrared inspection.
2. The finished strips of wet wipes are cut and stacked immediately. We can change the number of pieces in a single pack according to the customer’s needs, and we can also control the stacking method to achieve the one draw-out effect.
3. The prepared bag rolls are instrumented to wrap the stacked wipes, which are then cut into packs and sealed. Of course, we are able to offer customized projects, such as changing the packaging format (cans, pouches, etc.).
4. The final package is sealed with a customized cap or plastic seal.
Quality Inspection
HuiHao’s quality testing is mainly divided into air tightness testing and sampling as necessary.
1. We will use air pressure tester to test the air tightness.
2. Necessary sampling inspection includes raw material inspection, infrared inspection during the production process, and finished product index inspection.

Instrument introduction
Above I generally introduced the production process of HH’s wipes, most of the production line is completed under the operation of high-precision instruments, similar to the automated production line we have four.
The following is a brief introduction to some of the machines in Huihao’s automated production line.
Central control system: it is the control center of the whole production line, the liquid supply, conveyor speed and so on are controlled by the central console, and it can also real-time detection of semi-finished products and finished products of various indicators.
Fabric Spreader: It is able to spread the tube fabric completely and ensure that the fabric is not twisted or wrinkled.
Liquid dispenser: It is divided into liquid dispensing tank and liquid pump.
Automatic wetting machine: It outputs the solution needed for the current batch of wipes and evenly drips it onto the fabric, which is then further sifted through rollers.
Automatic Stacking Machine: Wet wipes are stacked according to the number of pieces in a single package demanded by customers, this machine ensures that your customers won’t pull out multiple wet wipes at once.
Automatic Packaging Machine: Wrap regular or customized packages around the stacked wipes.
Pneumatic Cutting Machines: Divided into wipes cutting machines and package cutting machines, the package cutting machines are equipped with heat sealers.
Automatic Lidding & Labeling Equipment: Customized lids (or not) and labels.
